3 Miles of Tubing

First coat of asphalt was laid by hand. Cold water was run through tubing during paving. Asphalt had to be monitored closely to assure it's temp was low so it would not melt tubing.

Only the perimeter was insulated. The earth was used as a heat sink, to store energy to compensate for sudden temp drops.
