04.17.11 - Randy was recently invited to the Buderus North American facility in Londonderry, N.H. with an exclusive group of heating professionals to an introduction of the new "Bosch" combi heating + hot water wall hung Boiler. The unit will be available in the U.S. in the next coming months.

Also a representative from "R.W. Beckett" was on hand to review the 'Beckett Aqua Smart Control' which will now become standard equipment in Buderus Oil Boilers.

03.26.11 - This week Randy paid a visit to the American Standard factory in Tyler, Texas.

The Training Center.

Dinner out at a discreet but famous Texas barbeque.

Twenty four acres under one roof in the manufacturing and testing facility.

"The visit to Tyler, Texas, to the American Standard factory was amazing, from the production processes to the testing labs. It was very encouraging to see an American factory working hard to keep jobs in the U.S. I gained appreciation for the quality. Fourteen-hundred jobs under one 24-acre roof. The most impressive part of the factory were the testing labs. The labs simulate outdoor conditions and indoor conditions. "American Standard" tests their products to failure. That is to say, they don't just test to make sure things work; they push the products to fail, so they can find the weak points and build to prevent failure."

Randy recently attended GeoThermal Training. The three day course was intensive instruction on Ground Source Heat Exchange technology.

The training included testing to be licensed and certified by "I.G.S.H.P.A." (which is now required by the state of Maine for geothermal installation.)

"I have been waiting several years for proper training and instruction in this field, although the technology was first patented in 1912. Only in the past thirty years has the industry matured enough and developed proven engineering and installation practices that can be relied upon. The three major players in products are "Water Furnace", "Florida heat pump", and "Climate Master." The training I received was sponsored by Water Furnace. The quality of product and knowledge in the geothermal world, encourages me to offer this product line."

03.15.11 - Have been going through & fixing up old sections, added some news about GeoThermal and we are still starting to see about a daily twitter, or some sort of blogging to keep the general public informed on what sort of daily going-ons may occur at a plumbing & heating shop such as ours . . .

01.11.11 - Well, no point having a news section if you don't update it. We're still here, and in this new year feel very confident in keeping a consistent flux of info and updates for you. Thanks again, in the meantime, for surfing our way.

10.29.07 - It's been a while, but the website has finally been updated, and there's more to come. We promise!

03.19.06 - Randy will soon be attending the 25th anniversary of Viessmann in North America and will travel to Toronto for this special event.

Last Month, Randy participated in a Buderus training of their new GB-142 gas boiler, which was held at their state of the art training center in Londondary, NH.

Meanwhile, two new employees have joined the RSHP Crew and this site has FINALLY been updated!

03.09.05 - The RSHP Crew has received a new addition. Welcome Brad back to the roster.

12.15.04 - The Home Protection section has been updated with information about Caleffi's iRadiant - Monitor your home from across the web!

11.16.04 - The Space Heaters and Solar sections have been updated with new links to Orbis and Thermomax.

11.02.04 - Randy has just returned from a trip to Italy where he visited Caleffi, one of the heating companies we endorse.

Through the years, We have found Caleffi to be the best manufacturer for boiler component parts and radiant heating products.

9.3.04 - Our offices recently received a special visit from Richard Trethewey (This Old House) and Harold Prell (Viessmann Vice President).
